Agritourism Liability Notice

Under Washington law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this farm if the injury or death results from the inherent risks of agritourism activities. Inherent risks include, but are not limited to, risks of injury inherent to land conditions, equipment, animals, weather, and the potential for a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury or death. Participants are responsible for following posted rules, instructions, and exercising reasonable care while on the premises.

Assumption of Risk

By visiting Tire Swing Farm, guests acknowledge that agritourism activities involve inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, uneven or slippery ground, exposure to weather conditions, contact with livestock, and interaction with farm equipment or fencing. Visitors voluntarily assume all such inherent risks associated with being on a working farm.

Animal Interaction Disclaimer

Tire Swing Farm is home to alpacas and other livestock. While our animals are generally calm and well cared for, animals are unpredictable by nature. Interaction with animals may involve risks such as sudden movement, biting, kicking, spitting, or scratching.

Visitors agree to:

  • Follow all posted rules and staff instructions

  • Not feed or handle animals unless explicitly permitted

  • Supervise children at all times during animal interactions

  • Visitor Conduct & Supervision

  • For the safety of all guests, animals, and staff:

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times

  • Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended

  • Guests should remain in designated visitor areas

  • Climbing fences, entering restricted areas, or interfering with farm operations is not permitted

Tire Swing Farm reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave the property for unsafe or disruptive behavior.

Health & Biosecurity Notice

To protect the health and welfare of our animals, Tire Swing Farm may implement biosecurity measures, including but not limited to hand washing, restricted access to certain areas, or limited animal contact. These measures may change based on animal health or seasonal conditions.

Weather & Terrain Disclaimer

Farm activities take place outdoors and may involve uneven terrain, mud, dust, pasture grasses, and changing weather conditions. Visitors are responsible for dressing appropriately for outdoor conditions and using caution while walking on the property.

Photography & Media Release

By entering Tire Swing Farm property, visitors grant permission for photographs and video recordings taken on the premises to be used for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, including use on our website and social media, unless a written request is made in advance to opt out.
